The Ground Truth for Enterprise Operations.

Autonomous agents for the enterprise close, built for banking, financial services and insurance. Every action is logged, verified and replayable.

How a close runs

A team of specialised agents on your ledgers and ERP systems. Each does a single job, writes down what it did, and hands the result to the next.

  1. Ingest

Journals, sub-ledgers and bank statements are pulled from the systems of record. Every file is hashed on arrival, so what the agents saw can never be in doubt.

  2. Match

Bank statements are matched to the ledger line by line, across accounts and currencies. Unmatched items are listed, not estimated.

  3. Reconcile

Intercompany balances are reconciled against every counterparty. The rules are explicit and the same every month.

  4. Verify and seal

Debits equal credits, or the run stops. When the ledger balances, the record is sealed with a hash and the figure is written: Δ 0.00.

  5. Review

Anything outside a threshold is handed to a person, with the evidence attached. Agents never decide an exception; they surface it.

The audit model

Inscribed, not inferred. Every agent action is a line in a permanent record.

A GreyStele record is written as the run happens. Each line carries the time, the agent, its inputs, its outputs and a hash of all of them. Lines are never edited or deleted. When the ledger balances, the run is sealed and the seal depends on every line before it.

Any run can be replayed. Give an auditor the record and the inputs and they can reproduce the close, step by step, and get the same figures. There is no model to interpret and no probability to argue over.

No probabilistic drift

The number an agent produces is the number the rules produce.

Δ 0.00

A close is sealed only when debits equal credits to the cent. There is no tolerance setting and no rounding away of a difference.

Deployed inside your perimeter

Your data stays on your infrastructure, in your region, under your keys.

Your environment
GreyStele runs in your cloud account or data centre. Ledger data is not sent to GreyStele.
Your keys
Data at rest and in transit is encrypted with keys you hold. Revoking them stops the agents.
No training on your data
Nothing from your systems is used to train or tune any model, GreyStele's or anyone else's.
Least privilege
Each agent holds only the credentials its one job needs, issued by your identity provider and expiring with the run.

What we hold to

A stele was carved when a record had to be beyond dispute. GreyStele carries that promise into enterprise finance.

Architectural weight
Grounded in granite, basalt and slate. Load-bearing reliability across core banking ledgers and ERP systems.
Absolute veracity
Every transaction reconciles with mathematical proof. No probabilistic drift in closes, settlements or audits.
Restrained demeanour
An institutional steward, not an app startup. We lead with evidence and cut every adjective that does not add a fact.
People decide
Agents do the work and surface the exceptions. Controllers, risk officers and auditors keep the decisions.
